Oscar nearly didn't make it to the show ring, he had a very fraught start to life, but once he did, he made his presence felt. He did very well as a puppy and also in his prime, but his dad kept him in his place, hence 30 res.cc's, which must be a record in its self!
Oscar was full of go and was still winning as a veteran, he qualified for the Pedigree Chum Finals, where he was shortlisted into the last eight of the competition. Oscar was also used for the Junior Handling Finals, where he was impeccably behaved and the young handler went on to win.

dog at Crufts and the RCC in 2002, not bad for an old codger!
This was a double celebration for Lynda as it was the first time she had won
a first prize at Crufts.
The old boy was still giving the young ones a run for their money with his recent wins, and yet another three CC's to add to the list, not that Lyn was complaining, she was over the moon with him, not many dogs looked as fit and show so well at his age.
Oscar was 10 yrs old when once again, he qualified for the Pedigree Chum Finals for 2004. Sadly Oscar never made it to the finals. He was very fit and healthy and it was quiet a shock to us all that he is no longer Lyn's constant companion.
He will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by a lot of people.
